Finding Your Passion in Business

What if we lived in a world where everyone followed their dreams? A world were everyone found their passions and fulfilled their goals.  We would all be rich, content and happy. However, the fact is that most people aren’t aware of their passion; nor do they even know that it exists. This article will serve as a road map on how I found my passion.

If it’s Boring, it’s Not for You

The simplest benchmark to find your passion is to see if it bores you or not.  For me, if my life doesn’t involve building systems or creating something new then it bores me.  When something is important I believe that we will build it up and create our best life.  Passion is our blueprint to success.  It is our compass that directs us forward.

Passion Comes Easy

Something that you strive for is also something that you are naturally good at. To find out whether a specific thing is your passion or not, let’s consider an example. For the artist, making art is as simple as walking across the road.  They look both ways and they get across easily.  Entrepreneurs spend thousands of hours perfecting their craft.  Putting in all that time is a breeze because they enjoy doing it.  Passion is just a part of the process.

People Praise It

If you do not know it by now, think about something that you do that most people praise you about. These things help make life better for you and those around you.  Entrepreneurs all over the world are even admired by their critics. Their work will always be recognized and praised for the intense passion that they put into it.

Strong Passion Withstands the Storm (of Criticism)

Do you think that any entrepreneur had it easy? Criticism is our fuel. We love the pressure. The average passerby, the naysayer, and those sitting in the crowd all wished that we failed. The fire in our hearts won’t allow it.  We stand firm against any storm.  Remember, there is treasure in every tragedy.
